Thank you for stopping by our website! I joined Granite Financial Group in 2000, and soon after became a managing partner and CFO. Having experienced ways other firms do business, I was excited (and still am!) to help build a firm with a reputation for uncompromising quality and service.
I specialize in designing plans and strategies for the specific needs of retirees, and for those a few years away from retirement. Retirement finance is an entirely different form of financial planning than you may have experienced in your working years. And few firms truly make this their focus because it’s about much more than just your money! We guide you through the complexities of government programs like Social Security, Medicare, and the IRS rules for your retirement savings (which constantly change)! Additionally, taxes must be managed each year to keep them as low as possible throughout retirement while ensuring you have all the income you need. And all while coordinating correctly and efficiently with your legal planning! It encompasses so much that we refer to it as “Retirement Management” rather than just financial planning.
Our advantage? As independent advisors as well as financial planners, we at GFG create strategies and solutions that are very different and more encompassing than one might get at a big “corporate” firm. We have no corporate entity dictating what types of solutions we can use, or that narrows our breadth of service. We have always been independent so that we can fiduciarily serve our clients.
I’m a local guy; I grew up in Grapevine. My wife Judy and I live in Keller and have three adult boys. We enjoy cruising, spending time with family and friends, cruising some more, being part of the local community and, oh yes… cruising! And occasionally I get some time to plunk around on a Les Paul.
